Unelman toinen puoli - The other side of a dream

Olen käyttänyt unelmanpehmeää Hand Maiden Swiss Mountain Cashmere and Silk-langasta (huh, mikä nimi) neulottua huiviani nyt noin viikon verran. Musta villakangastakki on saanut sisäpuolelleen hienoa kuorrutusta.

I've used my softer than a cloud scarf I knit from Hand Maiden Swiss Mountain Cashmere and Silk (what a name!) for a bit over week now. The first time I put it around my neck was quite odd. It was very warm yet at the same time it felt like I was not wearing a scarf at all. And there was no itching. For if my neck was a character in a fairy tale, it would be the princess in H. C. Andersen's tale the Princess and the Pea, the pea in this story being a wool of any kind (I use the term wool loosely here to describe any animal-based fiber). So, very warm and soft, but now after some use the reality starts to rear its ugly head and the honeymoon seems to be over. The yarn sheds quite profusely. I managed to scrape the above amount from my jacket quite easily and there was plenty left. My black woolly coat has got a bluish coating on the inside. I hope the shedding ends at some point...the scarf itself shows no signs of wear.
