Hmph!

Gasp! Kauhea ajatus...jospa minulla on jo tarpeeksi lankaa?

Tosin etukappaleissa on sitten vähän vaativampaa neulontaa, mm. kääntymiskerroksia juuri tuossa kulmakohdassa. Mutta takakappaletta olen neulonut jo kiitettävästi, olen puolivälissä kädentietä. Kuvia toivottavasti viikon puolivälissä, jahka tietokone ehjäytyy.

And still no pictures here. Somebody decided that the hard disk in the home computer needed organizing and run the defragmenter program. Well, the program organized the files all right and organized the whole windows-folder into the bit-heaven. So no working computer at home atm. And I fooled around at the balcony with the party thingy and a digital camera trying to get some decent pictures of it. Alas, you'll have to wait until the same somebody gets the computer up and running again.

But about last weekend's knit-related busines...I went shopping with Marjut on Saturday. And I strongly suspect that I'm broken since I bought only 3 balls of Funny-yarn for a scarf (for a xmas present) and those same plastic teddybears that Marjut bought. There was even a 20% sale in one yarn store because the house it was in (Kiseleff bazar) had a birthday. And I didn't buy any yarn! And I wasn't even tempted when I was offered to join a net order. Gasp! Frightening thought: maybe I have enough yarn? Can such a thing even be possible?

Knitwise I did ok. I managed to start the Debbie Bliss-crossover top. It's supposed to look something like this when finished. Except the yarn I use is petrol green and there's going to be a celtic-type pattern on the hem and maybe at the edges of the front pieces as well. And it won't be quite as tight, I hope. Luckily the pattern seems quite easy, since like I complained in my last post, the yarn is not quite up to the gauge required. Anyhow, I've managed to knit the back piece about half-way up the armholes. Next I have to start thinking whether to add the pattern around the neck or not. Pictures coming up somewhere around Wednesday or so. Depending whether the computer co-operates.
