Eilen kun tulin kotiin niin lattialla odotti pieni ruskea paketti. Kukas muukaan kuin salainen pohjoismainen ystäväni oli muistanut minua pienellä lahjalla. Sisältä paljastui vaniljasaippuaa ja pieni kortti. Kiitos, Sol! Lahja on sikälikin hyvä, että Hannu on hyvin perso kaikelle vaniljalle, joten saippuasta on siis hupia molemmille :-)
Yesterday evening when I came home I found a small brown parcel waiting for me. My nordic secred friend had sent me something. And inside said parcel I found vanilla soap and a small card. Thank you, Sol! The present is doubly good because Hannu is very fond of all things vanilla, so there's enjoyment for both of us :-)

Neuloa en ole ehtinyt kauheasti...valmista olisi tosin tullut enemmänkin, jos olisin lukenut ohjeet vähän paremmin enkä neulonut Cloudin hiha-aukkokavennuksia väärin. Piti purkaa siis. Ja nyt se on niin hirveän kiinnostavassa vaiheessa (puolivälissä hiha-aukkoja) että en viitsi ottaa mokomasta vielä kuvaa. Jospa tänään saisin takakappaleen valmiiksi niin voisin huomenna auringonpaisteessa ottaa siitä kuvan. Mistä muistinkin, että pitää laittaa kameran akku lataukseen tai ei tule huomenna kuvia. Ja ajatelkaas, viikon päästä tähän aikaan olen jo Dublinissa!

Haven't had much time to knit...although I would have finished more if I had read the pattern instructions a bit more carefully and didn't manage to get the sleeve hole decreases wrong in Cloud. I had to rip that is. And now it has reached the ah, so interesting stage (sleeve holes half way done) that I won't bother with a picture. Maybe I'll get the back finished today so I could take a picture of it tomorrow in sunlight. Which reminds me that I have to recharge the camera battery or there won't be any pictures tomorrow. And just think, next week at this time I'm in Dublin!
