Since today is a fake Sunday (a bank holiday) I started a scarf out of fake suede yarn to celebrate. The yarn is Katia inca that I bought ages ago from Tallinn and I only have two balls of it. I foresee a future where I run out of yarn because there's only 25m in a ball. But luckily there's a trip to Tallinn on 14th!.

Ja kommenttina edellisen postauksen kommenttiin: ei, *piip*:eillä ei ole mitään tekemistä tipujen kanssa :-)

And to comment on the comment on my last post: nope, these *beep*:s have nothing to do with peeps. They're gone with the Easter.

And let the meme continue. Here are my questions to Mira.
1. When did you learn to knit and how?
2. What is the most difficult thing you have knitted and how long it took? (And a picture would be a bonus)
3. How many UFO's do you actually have?
4. What is the most fabulous yarn you have bought/knitted?
5. Chocolate, do you like it or hate it? If love is the answer, what kind does it for you?

PS: Melkein unohdin mainita...Riikka on lupautunut kokoamaan yhden Vaakapeitteen (ja jos tulee kauheasti tilkkuja niin apua kaivattaisiin), eli menkää Riikan blogiin ilmottautumaan tilkuttajiksi! Minäkin olen jo tilkkuni puolivälissä.

Hi Niina, thanks for the interview! Here are the answers.
1. When did you learn to knit and how?
I learned five years ago, taught by my neighbor Ellie...my first project was a pair of mittens.
2. What is the most difficult thing you have knitted and how long it took? (And a picture would be a bonus)
The most difficult thing is the sweater I am working on, my first, it's a hoodie. I'll try to get a picture up but my scanner isn't cooperating right now.
3. How many UFO's do you actually have?
I've successfully managed to purge them down to 8.
4. What is the most fabulous yarn you have bought/knitted?
Oooh, this would be a fabulous handspun, hand-dyed wool yarn, I gave one skein each to my mother and my aunt.
5. Chocolate, do you like it or hate it? If love is the answer, what kind does it for you?
Chocolate...what's not to love! I have to confess that Cote d'Or Bouches from Belgium are my big weakness but anything will do in a pinch.
Thanks, Mira. I confess, I read them in your blog already :-) I've had some Cote d'Or chocolate in my day (don't have them much here in Finland) but I have to say I don't know what those Bouches are.
Niina,
They're a hazelnut praline creamy filling covered in good Belgian chocolate.
My husband appears to have finished the last box, either him or the kids...those rats...imagine, eating chocolate and not offering any to me.
But if you send me your address and preference for milk or dark I'll send you some nice American chocolate. We do actually have some good chocolate here.
Best,
Mira
Mira:
Ooh, that would be nice. We can do a chocolate swap then :-)
