Viiimeinen paketti - The last package

Viikko tähän asti: liikaa töitä (osa omaa syytä, mutta ei kaikki), pesukone sanoo sopimustaan irti ja en uskalla pestä sillä enää (hmph, mokoma on vasta 14 vuotta vanha), sain flunssan ja huomenna pitäisi mennä Tallinnaan. Mutta, sainpa jotain kivaakin, paketti salaiselta ystävältä. Tai no, koska paketti oli viimeinen niin eipä tuo enää niin salainen ole. Mutta, paketin sisältö: kortteja! Ihania pölhön näköisiä kissakortteja.

The week so far: too much work to do (partly own fault but not all), the washing machine decided to start breaking (and it's only 14 years old or so), and I got a flu and I'm supposed to go to Tallinn tomorrow. But, on the bright side: I got a package from my Secret Pal. Although since it was the last package, she's not so secret anymore. But, what was inside: cards! Lovely cards with a goofy-looking cat.

My SP had also knit me a scarf, just my colours - it was really hard to photograph but it has really nice blue-purple colours. There was some chocolate too, but I ate it already, so no photos. But thank you, Heather, for the lovely gifts.

Joulukortteja - Christmas cards

Tämän vuoden joulukortit on taas tehty. Tein kyllä viime vuonnakin, mutta jostain syystä niistä ei kuvat päätyneet blogiin. Mutta ihastelkaa sen sijaan vuoden 2004 kortteja. Ja tässä sitten tämän vuoden satoa. Toisista pidän kovastikin ja toiset on vähän "njaa", mutta tällä kertaa tuli vain yksi ihan epäonnistunut kortti. Edistystä.

This year's christmas cards have been finished. I did make cards last year too, but for some reason the photos didn't end up in my blog. But you can take a look at the cards from year 2004. And here's the flock for this year. Some of them I like very much while some are just "hmmh" but this time there was only one no-good card. Progress.

Nyt voisin vastaanottaa aploodeja ja selkääntaputuksia, kiitos. Viikonloppuna koetan päästä päivänvalolla kuvaamaan melkein valmista kirjoneulepaitaa...toin sen pois kurssitiloista. Vain etukappaleet+hihojen päärmeet ja reunakaitale puuttuu. Siis käytännössä valmis!

Now I'm ready for applause and pats on the back, thanks. On the weekend I'll try to get some daylight and take photos of my almost finished fair-isle cardigan which I brought home from the class. Only the front pieces+sleeve edgings and edgings missin. Practically done then!

Kortteja - Cards

Tässäpä sitä nyt sitten on, sunnuntain ja maanantain satoa: joulukortteja (klikkauksella suuremmaksi). Kaikenkaikkiaan olen niihin aika tyytyväinen - jotkut ovat vähän tavallisempia, jotkut ovat mielestäni tosi kivoja, mutta kaikki ovat erilaisia. Ja käsintehtyjä. Nyt vaan kortit postiin!

Here they are, the things I was working on Sunday and Monday evening: christmas cards (click for a bigger picture). All in all I'm pretty pleased with them - some are a bit more ordinary, some I think are really nice but there's not among them two alike. And they are all hand made. So all that is left is to post them!
